Lucía's room

"We share all the details of the girl's room project carried out by Nora Zubia from the interior design studio Slow and Chic, featuring our wallpaper Mariquitas. A bedroom full of light and peace, where the wallpaper wall is the main character."

"The intention was to create a children's room that would grow with Lucía, so that it wouldn't become too childish too soon. We were clear that we wanted to give prominence to just one wall, so as not to overload the entire space, and from there we started looking for wallpapers."

We found the ladybug paper that we loved, with green patterns and a very subtle pink that is not too girly, featuring drawings of ladybugs and flowers that were the main inspiration for the decoration of the rest of the room.

Taking the off-white of the paper background as a starting point to define the rest of the colors, we chose a very light gray for the walls, thus creating some contrast with the lacquered white of the carpentry and the white furniture.

From there, the final stage was to find the rest of the accessories that matched the wallpaper: a lamp with very subtle pink tones, a mint green rug, and the rest of the accessories also in light pastel tones so that they would combine with the wallpaper without overwhelming the room.
