The first thing you should do is prepare the wall. If there are too pronounced protrusions, it is advisable to reduce them with the help of a spatula. It is also a good time to solve any problems you may encounter such as moisture or small holes.

In the second case you must mix it with water following the manufacturer's instructions. Soak the roller well and begin the application in the less visible areas to gain practice.

It is best to make sections instead of covering a large area. Apply with the roller and smooth with a trowel. You should let it dry for about four hours to repeat the process. After the second drying you should use fine-grain sandpaper. This will provide the uniformity you need.

Once you have finished with the entire wall, it is advisable to remove the dust and apply a primer that will make it easier to place the wallpaper. This method is quite economical and easy to carry out.
