DIY: wallpaper + wall moulding
Sandra, the creative mind behind @pasitoapasitodecorando, has decided to make a radical change to her son's room and has embarked on a country chic decorating project that is pure inspiration.
We love DIY (Do It Yourself) projects and this one is more of an example of how to transform a children's room with little expense and achieving a result worthy of a decorating magazine.
Sandra has opted for green Vichy wallpaper, combined with the wall mouldings that are now a strong trend in the deco world. The mouldings were installed and painted by her, as you can see (and learn) on her instagram account, where she shows the step by step of her project.
The Vichy wallpaper features irregular squares in a mint green and off-white tone, with a watercolour design that gives it a handmade and cosy touch. It's a style that has gained popularity in children's décor for its timeless, classic charm. The neutral and elegant colour scheme suits the room perfectly, creating a calm and harmonious atmosphere.
The bedroom furniture is also worth mentioning. The bed from @muebleslufe and the wardrobes from @astikitline offer functionality and style, while the rug and garland from @casashops_espana add a touch of joy and texture. The result is a space that invites relaxation and play, with details that reflect Sandra's personality.
The kikert white wall paint by @montobricolovers brings brightness and balances the mint green of the wallpaper. The @sulion_es fan and @ikeaspain duvet cover complete the room, adding comfort and practicality.
Sandra, thank you for taking the time to show us your new project and allowing us to be part of this exciting process. Your vision and dedication to decorating has left us wanting to see more 💚.
